Bangtan Boys [ BTS ] Boy Band | Great Personalities | Enliven

The biggest boy band from South Korea with over 214,000 sold out tickets in just one concert and having the biggest fandom called 'ARMY', BTS has it all. BTS consists of 7 members, starting with the leader and the main rapper RM/Kim Namjoon, oldest member and Vocalist Jin/Kim Seokjin, lead rapper Suga/Min Yoongi, lead rapper and main dancer J-hope/Jung Hoseok, Lead Vocalist and main dancer Jimin/Park Jimin, Vocalist V/Kim Taehyung and Lead Vocalist and the maknae of the group Jungkook/Jeon Jungkook.

It wasn't always sold out tickets, shouting fans wherever they went out and worldwide recognition for them they had a pretty rough start. One of the most liked aspects of BTS is the wide array of genres in their music.


They debuted as a rookie group back in 2013 with their album '2kool4skool' and sold 24,441 copies in total only, compared to their latest album 'BE' which sold over whooping 1.01 million copies worldwide. Back in 2013 they used to share one room and were practising 24/7 for their debut while a few members were still graduating. What I think is that their humble beginning is what makes them what they are today. BTS is not a band anymore. They have become a global phenomenon with their hard work and their truly dedicated fans. In 2015, BTS was recognized at the international level with their lead single I Need u on their album The Most Beautiful Moment In Life Part- 1, after this BTS has always been serving us with hits over hits. 

They have broken a lot of records and have won a lot of awards till now in their career, which also consists of having a Grammy nominee.


Apart from their musical talent, all the 7 boys have a very cheerful personality and are also very good looking and all of them holds a place for being the most handsome faces in 2018. The members have a great sense of humour and if you go on YouTube and search for their crackhead videos, you can easily find thousands of them. The( youngest) of the group, Jungkook, is said to be the golden maknae as he's good at literally everything. The leader of the group, more commonly known as RM, is a genius! Though Suga takes that title as he named his studio as 'Genius Studio' lol, RM has an IQ of 148 and he scored 850/990 in his TOEIC language exam he's the only member who can talk in English and he studied it by watching the famous American sitcom Friends.RM also gave a UN speech and participating in changing the world.

"Maybe I made a mistake yesterday, but yesterday me is still me. I am who I am today, with all my faults. Tomorrow I might be a tiny bit wiser, and that is me, too. These faults and mistakes are what I am, making up the brightest stars in the constellation of my life. I have come to love myself for who I was, who I am and who I hope to become"

These sentences by RM in the UNICEF speech touched everyone's heart.


Jin the eldest member is also famous for the name WWH, short form for World Wide Handsome, which he named himself. Apart from his beautiful face, he also has broad shoulders which measure about 48cm, which leads him to have a great body proportion. He's also fond of dad jokes which led members to cringe sometimes, but his windshield laugh always makes them laugh too. Suga is known to be a very introverted and careless person, but the army knows that it's not true, as once you get to know him, he is very affectionate. He never intended to be an idol and signed to Big Hit Entertainment as a producer, but Bang Si-Hyuk, professionally known as Hitman Bang the CEO and the founder of his record label company tricked him into saying that there would be no dance included if he joined BTS as a rapper, but as we all know, BTS has one of the most difficult choreography and every member is pretty good at it. J-Hope, better known as the sunshine of the group, used to be a street dancer and never rapped before, but when he joined BTS he learned how to rap through freestyle with RM and Suga.

One of my favourite songs where his rap skills are truly shown has to be the 1st verse available on Sound Cloud. Jimin who was the last member to join BTS also had a huge passion for dancing and singing. Before becoming a trainee, he studied contemporary dance at Busan High School of Arts and was a top student in the modern dance department. He's also has a cute nickname called baby mochi and he's also the more flirty one in the group tho RM sometimes takes the crown of being a perv. Lastly but not least V, never intended to audition for big hit as he just came to support a friend, but later on was selected and his friend failed. When he was growing up, his father was a farmer and he also thought that he'd become a farmer too, but destiny had other plans for him. He's also a huge jazz fan and used to take saxophone classes when he was a kid and has also stated in some interviews that he wanted to become a saxophonist. He also sleeps with his eyes open. He did his first acting show in a kdrama (that is Korean drama ) called HWARANG.


All in all, BTS is the most influential celebrity in South Korea and the world.
