Lost In The Blue ? | Motivation | Enliven |
Being an egocentric I had no time to think of anyone other than myself. When I was in sophomore year of my high school. To be honest I was the most imperious person. I had pride of being the richest and smartest student of my class. I used to work every day and every night to fulfil my desires and dreams. I achieved a lot but it was not enough to quench my hunger of ambition.
It doesn't matter what we want, once we get it, then we want something else and it's a human tendency. But time by time, I Realized though I had a lot of money I was not happy. I'd achieved a lot but I was not in peace.
Running behind anything whether it's your ambition/goal or money is nice but to some extent only because it has some negative aspects also attached to it.
The first priority should be your happiness and your health. Well, we all know our ultimate goal is not to earn money only.
The most shocking part is "India's Happiness Index" has been falling consistently. India's rank is even behind Pakistan and Nepal in the happiness index & This means running behind money and ambitions are not the only factors that can provide you happiness.
Most people think money can buy anything, Really?
If we have a lot of money then we can stay happily.Seriously?
What if I say I'll give you 1-crore rupees every day for the rest of your life but you have to stay blind?of course, the decision will be no.
Money can't buy everything. It can only provide us materialistic happiness but there are many non-materialistic moments in one's life that gives us satisfaction, the only thing is to notice them.
This era which is full of insecurities and worries maybe there is no peace for anyone because we all humans are ambitious and beinng ambitious can satisfy the hunger of our desires but it can't give us peace within, and it's very disappointing that actually in this era no one ponders about their mental health, everyone is running behind money and choosing materialistic happiness though they are not fully happy and satisfy.
So the question arises what is real happiness? How can we get it?
Real happiness is nothing it's just the satisfaction and peace we get within.
● We can get real happiness,
1) By showing gratitude towards small things.
2) By loving people
3) By Helping others
4) By respecting others
5) By breaking goals into smaller steps and achieving them (don't rush)
Alagathnam Natarajan is a 72-year-old cancer survivor from south Delhi, he used to provide free water to the poor and thirsty people across South Delhi. He Started all that by placing a water cooler in front of his house to relieve people of their thrust.
He can be a good example for spreading happiness without thinking of his own problems.
Now, after experiencing a lot of shits in my life I feel being ambitious and running behind money to a certain extent is good but sometimes just letting things go in their way and just believing yourself can be a better option.
STAY HAPPY :D
