India and The World Order | India and the world | Enliven

In the very famous web series Game of Thrones, when the little finger says "Knowledge is power" Cersei replies in a threatening manner "Power is Power". I was thinking of Cersei's remarks over power and thought is it relevant even today, I believe not.




The world order is changing enormously and quite fastly. Globalisation has bought centuries together so much that now a crisis in one is the reason for the collapse of others. Big and powerful countries with advanced technologies are shaking the world with war and military exercises. The Russian invasion of Ukraine and the corona pandemic has completely economies and bought many countries to a level of complete collapse. Sri Lanka is one such example. But if there is one such country which has grown well and shown positive economic growth is INDIA.

India had outperformed many countries when it comes to recovery rate during corona time. The strategy of lockdown was not only seriously implemented but also sincerely followed. Then came Russia's invasion of Ukraine, where the world has seen high fuel and natural gas prices, India with its highly efficient diplomacy can find the best offer for its citizens.

I believe that the 21st century will be the century of diplomacy and mind games. And India is leading. Here are some remarkable reasons for it ⇒


i) With European countries cursing Russia, India came to the forefront and tried a diplomatic call for peace between Russia and Ukraine.


ii) Ukraine Ambassador to India, requesting PM to break a peace talk.


iii) Rescuing over 20,000 Indian nationals from war-torn areas in Ukraine


iv) India is invited as one of the dignitaries to the G-7 meeting.


v) With news reporter to diplomates and foreign ministers from other countries trying to instigate India about Russia's invasion and buying Russian Oil, Our foreign minister S. Jayshankar have given some clever and bold remarks that have shut their mouth completely.

vi) One of the biggest achievement is the production of the Indian Vaccine, and not only that, the easy access everyone has got to it. 


Diplomacy is the language of today's world. And India is one country which has mastered it already. But the journey is long and hard. Increasing China's interference in India's LAC and military exercises is a great challenge that India is facing right now. But with one of the finest military, I believe India can suppress China's provocation.



At last, I just want to mention, that with Nuclear weapons owned by many countries, "Power is Power" is not applicable, but diplomacy and knowledge are.

It is well-known that India will take the presidency of G-20 from December 1 for the next 1-year till November of 2023 from Indonesia. Bali hosted the final event of G-20, inviting great leaders from around the world including  America’s President Biden  and the head of NSA of America.
